Investing in Stocks

Abstract: The building block of much of our wealth and retirement funds is stock: shares of ownership in corporations. We are an ownership society. Stocks have unlimited earning capacities, which is why so many serious investors choose them. In this lesson plan, you are introduced to what stock is; types of stock brokerage accounts; small, mid, and large-cap stocks; and the basics of buying and selling stocks. This plan will give you the basic background you need to begin researching and owning stocks.
